The rank 1 version of the recipes are all obtained from your profession trainer right in your factions capital city. The recipes have 3 ranks, with decreasing material cost, where the largest decrease is in the expulsom cost, which also decreases the time required by the largest margin. As with the other professions the items are item level 400 and represent a great entry points for gearing.
You have fewer weapons than blacksmiths of course, but on the other hand you get to craft for two armor types, which helps a lot.
In addition to this you can craft a bow for hunters, so in total you get access to 11 items. Leatherworkers can craft armor for the 5 non-azerite armor slots for both leather and mail. A look at the new recipesĪs with tailoring and blacksmithing the only new recipes we get is for Uncanny Combatant gear. It’s usually better than tailoring for combatant gear however, as you can target more classes with leather and mail. Leatherworking has been fairly strong, but not quite at the level of blacksmithing. Today we will continue our look at professions in 8.3, and the focus today is Leatherworking.
